Sustainability
A trend to publish information on social responsibility and governance started among listed companies two decades ago. It initially derived from growing requests from institutional investors and the greater awareness of the different social agents concerning the impact on business activity. This trend has been consolidated and has increased in recent years, with specific legal obligations to provide information on corporate governance issues, the impact on the environment, commitment to diversity, and the contribution of social and economic value, among others. In short, all those issues that today are included under the concept of "sustainability".
Although CORES is not subject to those regulatory obligations, the Board of Directors has adopted a voluntary commitment to sustainability. The Corporation must assess the ethical, social and environmental aspects related to its function. Thus, since 2019 CORES has been publishing sustainability content in its Annual Activity Report.
